Homeless

According to the 2001 Census, the total homeless population in India is 78 million people! [1] The homeless of Kolkata, Mumbai & Delhi make up 78 percent of those people! With the Commonwealth games coming up, even more people will be rendered homeless in the next 9 months in Delhi (because of slums being torn down). This time of year is also one of the more difficult times for those that are homeless. The temperature is still cold and the rains that come with the changing of seasons have begun.

Please pray for the homeless of Delhi! Pray for those that aren't believers, that they will come to know Jesus Christ! Pray that the Christians of Delhi will be active in sharing their faith (Philemon 6) and not be afraid to share with those that are homeless! Pray that they will show Jesus' love to them by helping to meet physical and spiritual needs. Pray that they will impact this group in Delhi with the love of Jesus Christ!

Wives!

As time goes on, there are more and more pastors & church planters in Delhi. That means, there are a lot more pastor's & church planter's wives. The wives of those men need a lot of prayer (as well as their husbands).

Things you can pray for them:
- Pray that the wives will be involved. It is easy for the wife to be disconnected and uninvolved in the church or church planting. Pray that they don't think of it as only their husband's ministry.
- Pray that the wives will share their faith and be bold!
- Pray that the wives will find their own niche in the ministry and work as a team with their husbands!
